For me personally I love when an intelligent political band gives speeches like that, but when a political speech is coming from a band that has no political credibility then I can't say I really support it.<BR/><BR/>Bob - While I know your stance on Rage, I think for them to be around is very important. I don't know for a fact that they truly care about what they believe in, I know they attend many protests and things of that nature but as you said it could all just be a show. However, even if it is all just for show I think they are pushing the American youth in a positive direction. They are very knowledgeable politically so it's not like some teenybopper is spewing garbage which he/she doesn't know about. I don;t know that it's anything new in world history, but that doesn't change the fact that it's wrong.<BR/><BR/>David, I partially disagree. When I got to see a non-political band, I don;t want to hear some half-baked diatribe with pop culture opinions. But RATM, even if it's only shtick, is a political band and you have to expect it. I have a hard time with them, because I don't <I>believe</I> them, but in this case, it's kind of like having a hard time with a band because I don't like the singer's voice.
