Them Crooked Vultures New Album Streaming Online

Them Crooked Vultures - arguably the most anticipated supergroup of the decade consisting of Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age), Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters), Alain Johannes (QOTSA) and none other than John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin - is streaming their new debut album for free online http://bit.ly/stream_tcv. After a quick listen, I'm pretty positive anyone who has the slightest of interest in the band won't be disappointed. If you had you calendars marked for November 17th (Release Date), this will be like Christmas in November. Enjoy!

The vinyl isn't due until December 23, so I'm gonna have to wait around for it. So far, I like what I've heard, but it's tough to justify buying the CD when the vinyl will follow...unless it's the Mars Volta in which case it's a lot easier to make a case to buy both.

I cannot stand when that happens. Usually when a vinyl comes out a month later I will just opt for the CD. I am very impatient.

I almost never buy CDs at all anymore. I guess for me, it would depend also on what the package is like. If it's amazing, it's worth the wait.

By the way, I finally bought Horehound. I dunno why that took me so long, but that's a really nice set.

Horehound is def one of the better vinyls I have. Jack White always seems to be associated with quality vinyls.

It seems that a project like this begs to be released on vinyl. I'm going to check out the tunes before they disable the link. Thanks for passing on the word.

I downloaded a live bootleg of theirs in FLAC format but I've not yet had a chance to listen to it. I do most of my music listening at work and my work computer doesn't have the Windows Media Player codec for FLAC and I can't do any installs onto this computer.

Well, it still sounds awesome. But I gotta tell you -- they sounded so much better live. Still, this rocks.
