6) Cream: White Room

Well the famous wah wah pedal comes back into the countdown with Cream’s hit “White Room.” Eric Clapton is always regarded as one of the best guitarists of all time and here is just one of many songs proving how fantastic he really is. This song really defines psychedelic music and the solo is the focal point of the song. Right before the heroic solo starts there is hauntingly dramatic sounds which is a perfect start to what’s to come. This is definitely one of my favorite solos; it’s one of those ultimate air guitar solos that you just scream along to. It may not be one of the hardest solos to play but the way it meshes with the song and the sound is just genius. Clapton never falls short of greatness.
