5) Jimi Hendrix: All Along the Watchtower

Well here we have Jimi touching up some of Bob Dylan’s best work. On top of adding a good rockin’ vibe to the song he decided to add some incredible guitar solos where as Dylan had harmonica solos. There isn’t really one solo in this song, he goes off and does quite a few but the most notable ones are during the second half of the song. They are phenomenal solos that really wail. Hendrix did not fail on doing Dylan’s work justice.

I've heard that Dylan liked Hendrix's version so much that Dylan started playing the song with electric guitar instead of acoustic like he had been doing.
