What If?

Always a question we ask ourselves, could we have avoided a tragedy if we had just done one minor thing differently that day? Would you have gotten into that car accident if you had driven just a few miles per hour slower? Well it appears that John Lennon had a situation where we could ask "What if?" Recently there were a few things that have been released about the moments before Lennon's death. That moments before Lennon arrived at the Dakota to meet his fate he was actually planning on stopping at a nearby Deli to grab something to eat because he was extremley hungry, he stated that "If I ate it would go straight to my knee." Now what if Lennon went to that Deli, would that have made Chapman sick of waiting? Another huge moment which could have changed the course of events is the fact that Lennon left the car before he actually arrived at the Dakota. There was a car blocking the driveway of the Dakota so Lennon decided to get out of the car instead of waiting and going into the private Dakota courtyard where Chapman couldn't get in. It really makes you wonder "What if?"
