April 4th 2006: The Countdown Starts Now
On this grand date I will be seeing David Gilmour. I can't even begin to express how thrilled I am. I will be seeing him at Radio City Music Hall and unfortunately since I'm a poor college student I'll be sitting in the second Mezzanine but from what I vaguely remember from Radio City Music Hall is that really there are no bad seats, plus I'm second row which is good because I sure can't afford $350 tickets. Considering there are very few things I need to survive such as: breathing, surfing, Chelsey, the New York Jets, and Pink Floyd I am so excited. David Gilmour is my personal favorite of Floyd, I'm not much of a Waters fan and would rather see Gilmour over Waters any day. I also heard that Nick Mason and Rick Wright might pop up at a few shows. Sadly this is the closest I will ever come to seeing Floyd as a whole, so I will take what whatever I can get. 105 Days Left!

I can feel your excitement and am thrilled for you! Who's going with you? Personally, I think it's a crime to go to something this significant, and event of this magnitude with someone who does NOT appreciate it. I would not allow my boyfriend to see U2 with me because he would have thought it was a "nice concert".
My friend Mark is coming with me and he's a big Floyd fan, so I would defintely say I am going with someone deserving. I know what you mean though, because it's just a total waste of a ticket.
Jeff, Merry Christmas. Just wanted to stop by and say that. Glad to hear you are taking Mark to the concert. I am soooooooooooooo envious. I might have to figure out a way to go.
I'm jealous. Gilmour was always my fave too. He's got an instantly recognizable guitar sound.
